Config

Config file is enough simple to understand. I will explain only some keywords:

Most significative keywords

USE_DHCP=yes/no

Set to "yes": the client try to get network configuration via DHCP, if you set this parameter to "no" the network client will use the variables of "Static IP" group;

in this case the variable:

DHCPSID=192.168.0.123

(usually provided by DHCP) will be used as IP of remote desktop server (Linux X-server or Windows terminal server) if you set:

XSERVER=auto
or
RDP_SERVER=auto

Note: XSERVER variable has priority over RDP_SERVER variable (leave blank XSERVER= if you set RDP_SERVER)

Default Config file

This is the default Config contained in /custom folder:

DNS=213.205.32.70

set your keyboard layout (en=default)

XSERVER=auto
XSERVER_2ND=

Set IP of Windows Server (Note: "auto" = set from DHCP using DHCPSID field) Note2: RDP_SERVER_2ND may be set to an alternative recovery/emergency Windows server

RDP_SERVER=auto
RDP_COMMAND="-k it -u tux -f -z -r sound -r disk:share=/mnt"
RDP_SERVER_2ND=
RDP_COMMAND_2ND="-k it -u tux -f -z"

#-k keyboardlayout -c workingdirectory -z=compression -n clienthostname -d domain -L codepage
#-r disk:sharename=/tmp -r sound -z (for local disks in \\tsclient\sharename, sound, network compression)
